Tribute to Sam From Gary Metcalf
No one in this area who has been around EMS has not heard of Sam Cunningham. Sam is one of those Icons, who has done so much for EMS, for the simple purpose of advancing the profession. With such dedication, he has truly left his mark on the profession. Not including things that he has published, supported, helped establish, but just the lives he has touched; not only patients, but those of us who are considered his peers and students in this profession. One of my greatest memories of Sam was during the EMS Annual Banquet, he was always there with that camera, documenting so much.
There are not enough words to show our appreciation for his contribution to the profession and to "us" in general. Thank you so much Mr. Cunningham, and Sam, we all will miss you so much.
